poolife® Defend+® algaecide is a non-foaming algaecide that not only treats and prevents green, black and yellow algae, but also clarifies your pool water. This powerful formulation can be used for the prevention of future algae growth and the treatment of visible algae.
Initial treatment for prevention of algae growth in clear pool water. Use 8 to 12 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water. For pools with visible algae use 16-24 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water. Remove dead algae by vacuuming.
To maintain pools free of visible algae add 4-8 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water weekly.
Can be used with all chlorine, bromine, salt water, ozone and mineral based sanitizing systems
