Our Process

Step1: Consultation

Before we start, we need you to provide us with a property survey that has been certified by a licensed surveyor. Once we have that, your dedicated Claffey design consultant will visit you to learn about your family, your lifestyle and how you use your existing pool or intend to use your future one. From there, we’ll discuss the plans, the design, the features, everything. The final part of the consultation process is a meeting at one of our showrooms.

Step 2: Design

When designing a pool, we use the latest architectural technology and our combined 100 years of experience in pool design to produce custom creations that meet all your needs. Our staff specialize in a range of disciplines including landscape and structural design and homebuilding, and this variety of specialties make for a comprehensive service.

Step 3: Estimation

Once we’ve designed and planned your new pool, we’ll develop a project estimate. Our estimations give you everything. No detail is spared, no shortcuts are taken, and there’ll be no hidden surprises further down the line.

Step 4: Claffey Office Visit

The next step is for you to visit one of our offices. Here, you’ll see a stunning 3D model of your new pool, giving you a clear overview of what your dream backyard is going to look like. This is where it’ll start to feel really real. We’ll talk you through every detail so you understand everything from the pool jets to the drainage to any pool furniture and accessories you may have requested.

Step 5: The Build

Working with our design consultant, you’ll select the materials you want for your new pool. From there, we will embark on the construction design and permitting phase, which will take an average of 8 weeks.

Once we’ve obtained the relevant permissions, we will begin the construction of your new pool. Building your swimming pool will take around 12-16 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and the weather conditions.
