To accent the depth of the property from the 4 different lines of sight and to protect the Live Oak, the pool was run perpendicular to the house. This also allowed enough space for the fire pit, spa, and cabana setbacks from the property line. The master bedroom and kitchen view the length of the pool to the sheer rainfalls but still had a great view of the golf course behind. The front entry and family room line of sight looks over the reflective perimeter overflow spa; and recessed fire pit with built-in seating/retaining wall through the sunken cabana to the golf course. The Galley kitchen/retaining wall and the fireplace/screen wall/retaining wall allow you to walk out level to the 4′ lower grass lawn. The cabana shed roof minimized seeing a roof profile looking at the golf course and worked with the height variance required by the city. The shingles matched the home and the Grey Limestone coping/veneers blended the interior home colors to the outside. The limestone was custom-cut for the swim-up bar counter. The Versailles pattern Travertine works perfectly with the asymmetrical layout. The porch was expanded to be more functional and capped with the same material. The Travertine stepping stones by the Oak allowed additional air/moisture to the tree root system. Turf accents keep a garden feel with low maintenance. There still was room for the playset out of the primary sight lines and this luxury puzzle was complete for this family.
